CU-ShEEP

The objective of this project is to establish collaboration with local utilities in establishing a situational intelligence laboratory and introduce new content in the power system engineering research and education at Clemson, especially in the area of synchrophasor technology and its application in smart grid environment. Students involved with CU-ShEEP are to be provided with experiential training opportunities at utilities. Short courses in synchrophasors and its applications in the control centers for non-power system, utility and industrial engineers are to be developed, and offered during the summer of 2014 and 2015. The project innovations/findings will be shared with other academic institutions and synchrophasor communities.
